Over 50 guests joined Susan and Ross Bardon as they celebrated the move of their Ray White business to brand new premises at Park Village Shopping Centre. Many local small business owners were in attendance, and guests enjoyed catering from local restaurants Samarco II, Sirtaj, Al Dente and Pigeon Pear Deli.
The centre has been completely refurbished over the past three years, and Ross and Susan completed their fitout in just three weeks. A feng shui consultant assisted with the internal layout, and furniture was custom-designed for the small space (just 67 sqm in total). Finishes include timber flooring, a stone-topped reception counter and LED lighting. Sleek workstations with built-in electrical, telephone and data cabling were installed for the six sales and property management desks. Guests were entertained with guitar and vocals by two local 16 year old students, Juliet Bardon and Lori Matushka.
Two of the seven large windows are covered with a huge 3m x 2.2m aerial photograph of Middle Park and parts of Mt Ommaney, Westlake and Riverhills, and has created tremendous interest from the locals.
“After carrying out market research with existing clients, we opted for large full colour printed window displays, rather than tv screens,” explained Principal Susan Bardon. “Feedback from buyers was that tv screens were frustrating – a property that interested them disappears from view after a few seconds! We have used a combination of A3 and A4 sized printed displays, in both the front window facing the car park, and the internal windows.”
Ray White CEO Peter Camphin congratulated Ross and Susan on their continued success, and their strength in the local market place. “Theirs is a business of attraction,” he said, “and we can see this tonight by the number of other local businesses here congratulating them.”
